As part of this collaboration, talented local Metal Smiths have created a striking new installation at the front gate featuring whimsical silhouettes of children playing, running, laughing, reading and exploring together. The durable, weather-resistant metal silhouettes celebrate the joy, curiosity, and energy of childhood while welcoming families to the interactive wonderland inside. This artistic gateway not only enhances the visual appeal of the Discovery Center but also embodies the shared mission of fostering creativity, imagination, and community connection for children and families across the Gulf Coast.

Tim and Talia Smith, a husband-and-wife team located in Saucier, Mississippi, passionate about metal fabrication. With our state-of-the-art CNC plasma cutter and professional powder coating services, we create custom pieces that last a lifetime.
In early 2020, we turned our shared love for creating into a full-time business. Talia handles the design and creates with the CNC plasma along with the laser engraving machine, while Tim handles the Welding, Sandblasting and Powder Coat Finishing touches. Together, we've invested in top-tier equipment like our ShopSabre - Hypertherm CNC plasma system and a professional powder coating equipment to deliver durable, high-quality results. Whether it's custom signs, gates, or industrial parts, we're all about precision, creativity and that personal touch only a family-run shop can provide.
